I haven't been very active the last several weeks for good reason. Unfortunately, my marriage has ended and my ex is gone back to Mexico. Yes, gay people divorce too. Anyway, I made a decision a while back. Friends are telling me it's a mid life crisis, or an overreaction to the divorce. Either way, I am going to be off grid for quite a while. About a year. I signed on for a group sort of like the Peace Corps. I'd rather not share where I'm going, but outside communication while possible will not be easy.
I will miss this place and many of the people here. It will always be a source of pride that I was one of the originals not long after the forum opened. Hopefully if I survive the next year, I will come back to a forum hustling and bustling with people. You guys let me be me. I'll miss you. Here are my individual goodbyes.

I don't see you posting very often which is too bad. Just know that I have those photos of you that you sent me. They will get a lot of use on those lonely nights coming up for me.
