I oppose mandated censorship. I also feel some threads can and/or should be family friendly, respectful, or at least not hositile, and personally try to act accordingly, depending upon the context (time/place). Example from the real world:


Holocaust jokes = good
Holocaust jokes at the funeral of a holocaust survivor = not generally good
