The NFL is in court starting today. I am a part of this class action suit (subscriber of NFL ST with DirecTV from 2011-2022 and YTTV 2023). This is a real court...not one of the NFL's kangaroo courts. Hopefully one or all of three things happens:

1.) We all get a partial refund of all Sunday Ticket fees we paid over the years.

2.) It may force the NFL to offer Sunday Ticket on a per-team tier...e.g. I could only buy a package for the Patriots...not the rest of the league.

3.) Red Zone might no longer be a part of the "upper tier" package. Similar to how Microsoft was no longer allowed to force Internet Explorer upon us with each Windows installation.

You should check this site out: https://www.classaction.org/list-of-lawsuits

There's a class action suit going on against NFL.com for security breach. Also there's one against Xfinity too.

Yes, class action lawsuits cover shit going back years....maybe they'll agree on a cap, but I doubt it.

Not sure what the statute of limitations on a civil suit is....think it depends on where the suit is filed...not a lawyer here...but think there's no limit.

Likely will be a little more than $1.50 tho....

I usually get checks in the range of $10-$15.....

Yep. I jump on about 10-15 class action suits every year....

Never hear anything for like 1-2 years...and BOOM...now and then I get a check in the mail....and go out and have a craft cocktail or two!

I mean...I don't do it to get rich...but doesn't take longer than 5-10 minutes to sign up...even sometimes you don't need to sign up (they have your customer info already).

I do the same with online surveys for 50 cents to $2.50 a pop....I just do them while I am on zoom calls to just look busy like I am taking notes....

Did you check out that website I left a link to? They usually have something in there.

I’m going to renew it this year. The experience was great on YTTV. I never got the package with Red Zone anyway, so that’s not a big deal to me. I’d rather just have two of the best games on two TVs than watch Red Zone and stare at Count Chocula’s massive ears.

This would be great.
