Stocks/Financial Thread

i am in the process of deciding on a financial advisor and my head is spinning. anyone have any tips? obviously one of the main ones is to make sure your goals are aligned with his or her plan. but what else should i consider? and yes, checking them out on the finra site and asking them questions if you see anything on there is a must!

@LordSensei1958 @jlaff I never realized we already had one of these.

I’ve been loading up on SQQQ with each good/decent day the market has had as a hedge (and to make an obscene amount of money should the market continue this correction it’s been on).

I didn't realize this was here either

Any ASTS regards here?

Seems like there’s room for growth and investment. It’s a novel idea, but their fundamentals are sketchy.
Up 770 percent in the past three months, lol. Finally a Reddit play paid off.

Do any of you all have a Ally savings account?

Had to manage some weekly options after that. Fucking institutions. I'm still an options amateur, but at least this week I'm not losing money when it blows up $13 in a day.
Made a relatively big move today. Also tagging @666, @Lord Mayo and @Beers because I think they're into stocks.

I never sell any TSLA shares. But the opportunity that appears to be coming was too tempting.

Sold 100 TSLA and bought June 2025 $220 and $280 calls. Leaves around $15k from the sale.

If a $500 2025 price target is correct, selling the $280 call at expiration will equal the exercise price of the $220 call and I'm back where I started as far as having those same 100 TSLA shares, plus I have an extra $15k to buy more options around the 10/10 Robotaxi reveal.

Also considering buying a single NVDA September call in the $130-135 around earnings.

The market seems to be anticipating a rate cut.
Fuck Powell, I thought it wasn't up to him to make unilateral comments for the group before meetings.

Did not need to see this kind of move to today. I shouldn't have kneejerk sold calls a minute to close yesterday.

Sorry, brotha. At least you still made some dough.
