Turn it UP/turn it OFF

HSanders

Cracker bitch
I was waiting in line to get gas at Costco tonight, and all of a sudden the song "rapture" came on the first wave channel on sirius and I just cranked the volume knob up on my car stereo. of course I remember all the freaking words to it. And I was hoping that I would not make it to the front of the line before the song ended. So it got me to thinking, everybody has songs that they automatically just crank the volume knob on as soon as they hear it. and I'm sure we all have songs that we're like 🤮 I have to change the channel like immediately or I will throw up all over my dashboard. this is the thread where you tell us what those songs are.

I apologize in advance because I know this song is meaningful to Pats fans but I fucking can’t stand it!

I don't need to turn up the volume, I have it blasting already. But, if I did want to turn it up to a song it would probably be Radar Love by Golden Earring if I'm driving or Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd when I'm just kicking back. Those could and probably would change next time I thought about it. There's tons of songs I would crank up the volume to.

Hate Springsteen!! The Boss!! He's the boss of sucking!!

We should all be able to agree to a law mandating that Radar Love be played at an appropriately loud minimum, because it actually works better with volume. And there's a group of other songs that should go in that category, as well (Mexican Radio, Lunatic Fringe, etc...). I could be convinced that Golden Earring's other hit song, Twilight Zone, should be included in that group, as well.
