I didn't say I wouldn't respond.

I'd be more inclined to forcefully restrain with either an arm bar or choke of some sort while telling her to calm the fuck down. After releasing her, if she was stupid enough to try her luck, she might get return fire. But if I hit a girl like that guy did, I'd be afraid of killing her. And no lesson is worth the problems that would bring into your life.

I'm not criticizing the guy though. I said he had the right to respond that way. Just not for me.

I wasn't saying what I said as a criticism, but just as fact. I've seen it time after time.

And I can tell you that the restraint response is fraught with problems.
