I’d have probably had him as one of, if not the, top tackles in the draft had his patellar tendon not gotten absolutely shredded. If he falls past 20 (SF, the Bucs, and Tampa could all take him), I’d absolutely take the flyer and trade up to 21 to get him. That’s especially true if we get Hunter.Josh Simmons
I'm seeing lots of end of Round 1 projections for him. Is he worth a trade up for our OT if we grab Hunter at #4?
I thought his best ceiling comp was Evans, but I definitely thought of Higgins when I saw his game. London is also a solid comp. That's good enough speed for a guy his size, he's not going to outrun a lot of DB's but that's not his game. He's in that London, Higgins, Sutton type of bucket, should be a solid WR that is certainly going to be over-drafted by normal standards, but that's what this years WR draft class is.
No, I’m trying to turn over a new leave.respectively?
I've heard the Evans comp too, for a guy with similar speed... Evans has gotten behind the D for long TD's quite a bit in his career.I thought his best ceiling comp was Evans, but I definitely thought of Higgins when I saw his game. London is also a solid comp.
Bingo. And even when he’s not beating his man by a step or two, which is often, his length enables him to stretch out for those balls on the 9-route. I can’t tell you how many times I saw him do just that with Brady.I've heard the Evans comp too, for a guy with similar speed... Evans has gotten behind the D for long TD's quite a bit in his career.
