I am so sorry someone carelessly hit you with a car and left you for dead.
I am so sorry that the car that hit you broke your back and you had to drag yourself on 2 legs back to your Baby.
I am so sorry you struggled for 2 whole days trying to care for your baby.
I am so sorry you were covered in fleas and your wounds were covered in maggots.
I am just so sorry. I wish so much you had a better life. I wish we could have saved you but the damaged that car did was just too extensive.
BUT I am happy that you new love even for just a little bit.
I am happy you got to feel safe and loved for the first time.
I am happy you had a nice warm bath so you could feel clean and bug free for the first time.
I am happy that you had some delicious nutritious food and your belly was nice and full for the first time.
I am happy that you got chin scratches and snuggles for the first time.
I am happy you purred for the first time. I am happy that you felt you mattered for the first time.
And don’t worry about Baby Riley. We are going to to take care of him, nurse him back to health and find him the best home so we will never have to endure what you did trying to care for him.
