Good advice for when you get stopped. I'm not a lawyer but watching these videos helped me to learn exactly what rights I have if I'm stopped.
These are some general rules to go by.
RULE #1 Always record the police when you're stopped. It is your 1st amendment right! They can't legally make you stop filming. That way you have an unedited video of what happened so it's not your word against the cops. If you're not recording, they will lie and any judge or jury will believe them over you.
RULE #2 Invoke your 5th Amendment right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you! Give the cops your license, registration and proof of insurance if asked for them. Then shut the hell up!
RULE #3 Passengers do not have to provide ID unless the cop can articulate a crime that you committed, are committing or about to commit.
RULE #4 If a cop tells you or the passenger(s) to exit the vehicle you must comply.
