I thought this might be a interesting thread. Have you met any celebrities in your travels?
The first celebrity I met was when I was around 11. I used to have a paper route and delivered to a former Red Sox player named Bill Spanswick. He only pitched a couple of innings for the Sox, but I was still star struck. His claim to fame is he was on the same rookie baseball card as Tony Conigliaro.
I worked in a fancy French restaurant in Lennox Mass, which is a very upscale type of place. We did the wedding for Karen Allen (Animal House, Indiana Jones) and I met her and the guy who did the Dunkin Donuts commercial "Time to make the donuts".

Also while working at the restaurant, I met Quincy Jones the music producer for Sinatra and Michael Jackson. I said hey and he just nodded at me.
While volunteering at a homeless shelter I was sent to a presentation by the then current Miss America in 2000. Her name is Heather French. I ended up eating dinner with her at my table of 6 during the event. After dinner she did autographs and pictures for us.
I'm the one on the left.
Lastly and probably my favorite was meeting was Ray Manzarek, the organist for the Doors. I met him at a collectibles show I was doing. Back when I smoked cigarettes I was outside having a smoke break. Someone tapped me on the shoulder and when I turned around Ray was there. He asked me for a smoke so I happily obliged. We talked for about 5 minutes before Traci Lords came out and asked for a cigarette too. I gave her one and she whined because it was a menthol. She was actually quite a bitch. Anyways, Ray was cool and told me to come see him when I went back in. He was signing photos for $$$. So he called me to the front of the line and signed a photo for me. His manager went to take money from me for it but Ray waved him off.
