Tyreek Hill would like a word...
With how loaded this receiver class is, I’d rather stay put and draft Harrison, or move down slightly and draft Odunze. I have no interest in moving up to #1 overall. We could conceivably draft Harrison, then someone like Thomas or Legette on Day 2, and fix the WR position for a few years.
It's worth noting that a trade from 10-ish to 2 or 3 would look fairly similar. With how loaded this receiver class is, I’d rather stay put and draft Harrison, or move down slightly and draft Odunze. There's no way, national talking head rumors are Pats would be happy with any of the top 3 QB's. If that's truly the case, they should just draft Maye/Daniels there. Take the best WR/OT on the board with the next 2 picks.Felger & Mazz we’re talking about a mock today that had McCarthy to the Patriots at #3
I almost drove off the road. Please don’t let happy ending Kraft make a Jordan Richards type of reach in the first round
I don’t want Daniels. Maye has his own issues, but I think he’s the best QB in the class. I’d be fine with taking him at 3 and then using the next pick on a WR. The receiver draft is so deep that someone like Johnny Wilson - 6’7” and a 4.52 40 - is a day 3 pick. There's no way, national talking head rumors are Pats would be happy with any of the top 3 QB's. Now if they only like one of those and he's gone I would like them to trade down a bit so they can still get a top WR and take an extra shot at a good player.
Jordan Reid at ESPN has a two round mock that has the Pats staying put and taking Daniels. I’d need a new TV.
I read on twitter that LSU fudges player's height/weight more than most. He's listed at 6'4" 210, gotta wonder what he really is, especially weight, since he refused to get measured at the combine. He certainly has all the tools and is an athletic freak.Jordan Reid at ESPN has a two round mock that has the Pats staying put and taking Daniels. I’d need a new TV.
I don’t think anyone on that message board has actually worked out in a long, long time.PatsFans dumbasses think it’s easy for Daniels to just add 20-30 lbs of muscle just like they thought Mac Jones could change his arm strength in a few months with “conditioning” (lol)
Daniels could use significantly more lower body mass for both strength and padding.
He’s a trained athlete who has obviously been working out for years, so he won’t get any newbie gains. At most he could add about 15 lbs of muscle in a year, though due to the fact he’s likely already trying to gain muscle and failing, the realistic expectation is probably much lower for him due to genetics.
And no, pro trainers don’t have some special training that allows athletes to gain more muscle, unless they’re supplying a banned substance.

Saw an interview with Rivera where he thinks Washington is taking Daniels, with Kingsbury there and his preference for a running QB as the deciding factors, it does make sense.Saw some mocks with Jayden Daniels going #1 lol
