Inside Out 2 should win Best Picture

Inside Out probably should have won Best Picture

For any Yellowstone fans it appears Costner is not going to return to the show. He personally put out a video saying so. Conversely the trailer for Horizon looks fucking great, I may need to go see it in the theater.

I quit watching it after Beth survived a massive explosion that leveled a city block, and walked out to smoke a cigarette. Just brutal writing.

House of the Dragon S2 is off to a good start

they cut off an infants head in the first episode
Alicent riding Criston’s face was a nice touch, too.

Changing the subject, I’m about 30 minutes into “Furiosa.” This movie bombed at the box office, but I’m not sure why. It has all of the same thematic elements and performances that made “Fury Road” so fun.

My buddy and I were supposed to go see that at the movies but some shit came up. Looks pretty good though? Hopefully better than Madame Web

Fury Road was wildly overrated, like Wonder Woman

(Based upon what I've read about it) Furiosa is crap with an overly large side of Girl Boss, Like Wonder Woman 1984)

It was just okay. I haven’t seen Madame Web, but I’m sure Furiosa is better.

I appreciated the shots during the battle scenes. High up, good views of the terrain. It gave a great impression of just how grandiose and grueling those battles were.

That was one problem I had with it. Suddenly, she is a badass who can hit a headshot on a moving target from 400 yards away. In Fury Road, she mostly drove and repaired the War Rig. When she had to fight, Mad Max whipped her ass in handcuffs. It was more realistic. Furiosa did to her character what the new Star Wars did to Rey - she just shows up, kicks ass, and takes names.

Another problem I had with it was Hemsworth. His performance was… pretty bad. Way too on-the-nose. In his roles now, he seems like he’s playing different versions of Thor.

It was just okay. I’ve seen much worse and I’ve definitely seen better.
