He's gonna get a temporary pass because of the injuries but he shouldn't.

Back-to-back home losses by 20+, after only having two 20+ point home losses for the entire Payton tenure.
Allen may not get fired this week, but I don't see how he's back next year. It's not his fault that they don't have the players, but he's in year 3 and underwater already, and the season's going to make that record worse as it goes on.

Badly. The college game is becoming more and more watered down, too. Combination of lesser talent coming through high schools to colleges and less padded practices leading to a shittier product.

That and I think the talent is just drying up. There are very little superstars in the NFL (and I'm being generous). The rule changes have allowed mediocre players to put up big stats and garbage sites life PFF claiming these players are elite.
NBA is also getting worse each year. It has become unwatchable.
March Madness is still awesome though.

I don't watch much college basketball anymore, but the atmosphere is like no other. I used to go to UCLA games back in the late 90's-early 2000's as my friend's family had courtside season tickets. The students were non stop stomping in the bleachers and chanting. The atmosphere is a 180 at Lakers games as you could hear a pin drop from the suites. The only time the fans would get into it is if it was an important game that was close. I had another friend who regularly had suites and they had one right next to Jerry Buss. I'd see his ladies walking in and out of the suite and then he'd exit the game with his entourage of women with fans cheering him. He was a fan favorite in LA.
Buss is probably who I would have become if I hit it big, young. I can’t get hooked on booze or blow (and believe me, I’ve tried), but I’d 100% be a pussy hound. I’m sure the UCLA games were an otherworldly experience in the late 90s. They had some good squads back then. I remember either their 98 or 99 team was really good but lost in the Round of 64.

The 90's was awesome. The O'Bannen teams and later Baron Davis' teams were a blast to watch.
Their football teams were fun to watch as well. Then it switched to USC when Carroll showed up. Those dudes were rock stars and it felt like a pro team out here. I was leaving a game and Kristin Cavallari and her friends were waiting outside for Matt Leinart. Those dudes got so much ass in college.
I was just saying the other day in the college thread that I don’t blame Leinart for staying another year at all. His prospects as a pro were never as good as his prospects at the parties. This was, I would say, an off night for him most likely.

What gives you any inclination that the 49ers have figured out how to stop MaGOAT? They just can't stop us. We are 4-0 against them in the MaGOAT era with two Superbowl wins and a 44 pt burger at Levi's.
