Wrong skin color... To be fair, Ladd did have questions going into the draft, he wasn't very productive in college, and he had injury concerns, he is also a skinny guy. Polk/Baker are obviously hugely disappointing.. Polk will get at least another year because of the draft capitol, Not sure about Baker, surely through camp.
Pats should absolutely be looking to upgrade WR however possible. Another somewhat unremarkable name in a FA class void of young studs (not named Higgins) that I'd throw a dart at is Darius Slayton, he's 27, not injured, and is a true deep threat with decent hands that's produced well despite a pile of turds at QB. After watching Higgins go off again today though I would hand him a blank check. or in @jlaff 's case, cheque.
