FREE AGENCY THREAD (and Potential Trade Bait)

Good for Darnold. He has to live in Seattle, unfortunately, but he’s getting paid at least.

But, based upon the reported numbers, it seems obvious that his last two games cost him a lot of money.

From ESPN:

Quarterback Nick Mullens agrees to a two-year deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars, a league source confirms. He was in Minnesota with current Jaguars offensive coordinator Grant Udinski. -- Michael DiRocco, Jaguars reporter

I know, but these guys aren't on our intellectual level. They won't believe you.
It's pretty easy to prove, actually.

No one would have tried to kill Hitler if the Holocaust actually happened. They would have erected monuments in his honor.

Instead, they wanted to kill him because he talked a lot of shit and didn't back it up. He let the world down.

Indisputable proof.

Justin Fields gong to the Jets

Justin Fields reached agreement on a two-year, $40 million deal that includes $30 million guaranteed with the New York Jets, per sources. -- Adam Schefter, NFL insider

Posted this on the Patriots thread too. These QB signings are great news for us....

By he way, some huge news today maybe under the radar...

Darnold to Seattle
Fields to NYJ
IF Rodgers to Pitt.

Cleveland and NYG much more likely to draft QB.

Cousins watch is on in Cleveland, from what I've heard.

So Carter could be there at 4 in theory

This is the third time someone here has referred to Thuney as a HOF'er.

Did I sleep thru a HOF career from him? He's very very good, but WTF.

hes played at an elite level his entire career and im pretty sure he hasnt missed a single game (at least he didnt for the Pats)
lots of pro bowls and all pros for him

he can also flex to LT or even Center if desperate and operate at a good level at those positions

hes the definition of consistency, couldnt ask for a better LG

Not being injured is a great trait for a player. It doesn't qualify one for the HOF.

Of course you could. He is an excellent, steady LG. No defense EVER worried about him as a dominant force. A HOF OL needs to be dominant not flexible, reliable, and solid.
