I've never really thought to compare him to the all timers, possibly because, when I watch him, I just don't see him in the same class as the top guys. It may be unfair of me, but I really see him as a guy who's lucky that true centers don't really exist anymore. I see him as a guy who's great in today's game, but would get his lunch money taken by pretty much any of the high-end real centers from the 60s to the 00s, and even the guys who started to sort of hybridize the position (like a Garnett, for example).
