2025 Draft thread

If the Pats can land an impact WR and fix the T situation, look for them to come out of nowhere like the Colts and Rams did in 1999. You an even add Tennessee in there as they were a decent team, but an afterthought in the AFC until Jevon Kearse put them over the top. All the teams had massive impact rookies on their teams with James (Colts), Holt (Rams) and Kearse (Titans). They have to nail the draft with impact players. None of this "he needs time to learn the playbook" shit.

There are going to be a few good WR's that come out of the mid rounds. If Hunter is gone, beef up the Oline, then worry about WR/CB/RB/DE=DT.

People are going a bit off the deep end on his arm length, IMO. He handled SEC edge rushers just fine.

If he busts as a tackle, he's obviously got the ability to play guard, meaning you'd just move him inside and lock up a guard position for 5+ years. So this is one of the rare instances where a player busting after being chosen in the top 5 doesn't have to be devastating to his team. On the other hand, drafting defensive linemen, or linebackers, or CBs, or QBs (etc...) means that you either hit on exactly what you were hoping to hit on or you've wasted your pick.

My #1 UDFA Special olympics Teamer target post-draft.

If you know that you're going to target a player as your #1 post draft pick this far in advance, you might as well burn a low round (6th, 7th) pick on him, and be sure that you get him.

Nope.
