2025 Draft thread

whenever teams in the past have traded up into top 5, they have to give up a treasure trove of picks

doesnt seem like we would be getting a lot.. swapping 1st rounders (dropping back 6 spots), and only getting a 2nd and 3rd rounder in return?

Demand. If we call Chicago's bluff and get stuck at #4? Blech!

Get a HIGH 2nd and a 3rd to pick essentially the same player at 10.

I would take that in a heartbeat but It's probably bullshit. Remember what BB said, 99% of the pre-draft stuff is misdirection until you get to draft day, that's when the real rumors start to surface.

I'm starting to think more positively of the idea of double dipping at OT in round one, assuming that Neither Hunter nor Carter is available at #4.

  1. Draft Campbell
  2. Trade back into round one for Simmons

Wouldn't be sexy but would bear more fruit than adding another 2nd round WR. Beef up the OL.

Or grab the best OG available in the 2nd. Like Ratledge if the trade up is not available.. if you get two starters on the left side you've effectively rebuilt the line this year. Still need long term solutions at C and RT but you're not pressed for time.. those guys can be developed or drafted next year.
