HOAs.... Still evil. Now even more expensive!

So much for moving to Florida to pay less due to taxes...

That's because one Florida town has shocked residents by tripling HOA fees to over $3,300, according to The Daily Mail.

Winter Park Woods, near Orlando, raised its monthly fees dramatically, the Daily Mail reported, citing WESH. Longtime resident Lorraine Roy now pays $3,371.79 for her three-bedroom condo...

Joel Berner, a senior economist at Realtor.com, noted, "HOAs are getting tough all across the country lately, but especially in Florida."

This should go over well in California and the rest of the country:

The O’Keefe Media Group on Wednesday released undercover video of a State Farm VP attacking Los Angeles fire victims and admitting State Farm is excluding white people from employement.

State Farm VP of Innovation and Venture Capital Haden Kirkpatrick told an OMG undercover journalist that, “Areas like where the Palisades are, there should never be houses built in the first place…it’s a tinderbox.”

Look for Walgreens to start getting even worse:

Walgreens Boots Alliance announced on Thursday that it has agreed to be acquired by private equity firm Sycamore Partners for $10 billion.

The price is a fraction of the $100 billion the pharmacy chain was worth a decade ago.

Advance Auto Parts plans to finish closing all California locations by the end of March as the company undergoes a transformation after an $820 million operating loss at the end of 2024.

The store closures were filed in November on the state’s WARN notice system, a written notification employers must file before a mass layoff or closure.

The Virginia-based company filed notices indicating closure of 136 retail locations and two offices in the state. Closures started in mid-February and will run until March 29, according to the notices...

...The company plans to close about 500 stores, about 200 independent locations, and four distribution centers by mid-2025, the company reported. As of December, the company had 4,788 stores in the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean, the statement read.

The company’s strategic and operation plan is expected to save $150 million, of which $50 million would be reinvested.

Besides downsizing its workforce, the plan also streamlines the company’s supply chain and moves parts closer to the customer, according to the report...

U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Brooke Rollins told Breitbart News exclusively that President Donald Trump’s administration will be focusing its egg price reduction efforts on repopulation of chickens and on biosecurity measures, and that the administration is now ruling out any vaccines for animals against avian bird flu...

...“So when we rolled that out, the first of course was biosecurity,” Rollins said. “The second was the repopulation really working so we don’t have to kill 160 million chickens, which is basically what happened in the last two years. The third is the deregulation and we talked about it and it isn’t just things specific to the avian bird flu but it’s also line speed in some of the plants, it’s Prop 12 out of California which has been devastating—the crazy kind of radical rules out of California have been affecting all of the industry and the country—and the fourth piece of that is we’re going to be importing some eggs. I know we announced Turkey, we’re going to be importing eggs from there and we have actually since last week with the announcement of the plan are in discussions with some other countries. I don’t want to say who they are just yet because we’re close to a deal, but we’re very close to getting more eggs into the country and onto shelves.”
The fifth plank of the plan, though, was the exploration of possible vaccines of livestock like chickens or cattle against the avian flu. But Rollins told Breitbart News that as she has learned more about such proposals, this will not be an effective way to deal with the issue—and ruled it out as a possibility, saying “I pulled that off the table” upon learning how ineffective such vaccines have been in other nations like Mexico...
