It's a shame that so much of our country's taste "evolution" has led to the replacement of the old with the new instead of leading to supplementing the old with the new.
My A1C went up 3 points just looking at the website!@Lord Chevy
I have a big old pack of homemade black licorice that I bought at a Christmas EXPO we had here recently. Company is called "the licorice guy".
The sugar-free ones are damn goodI'm ok with M+Ms, but my first, last and only candy love will always be Reeses.
I don't eat a lot of sugar, but I never go sugar free on things that are supposed to have sugar in them. I'm old and want them how they were originally made. That goes for soda too on the rare occasions I drink it.
Try these ... Seriously, the slight reduction in sweetness amps up the overall flavorI don't eat a lot of sugar, but I never go sugar free on things that are supposed to have sugar in them. I'm old and want them how they were originally made. That goes for soda too on the rare occasions I drink it.
...ith the CEO out, there are a lot of questions concerning the automaker's next steps. A new leader is expected to be named within the first half of next year, but there are already signs that Stellantis is looking to sure up its North American operations. It just rehired former Dodge and Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis to lead the latter truck brand. Kuniskis was known as a champion of the Hemi V-8 and the father of the automaker's Hellcat line of high performance cars. His return to the automaker after just a few months of retirement could speak to a broader change in culture following Tavares' exit.
So will the Hemi come back? Nothing is set in stone, but keep in mind that the company still offers Hemi V-8s as crate engines, still sells the Durango Hellcat, and still equips its larger full-sized trucks with V-8s. If I had to bet, I would say a V-8 version of the new Charger is on the way after the electric and inline-six powered versions arrive at dealers. Let's hope I'm right.
Apple released updates for its iPhone, iPad and Mac software on Wednesday that include a long-awaited ChatGPT integration with Siri.
The ChatGPT integration triggers when users ask Siri complicated questions. When Siri is asked a question that Apple's software identities as better suited for ChatGPT, it asks the user permission to access the OpenAI service. Apple says that it has built in privacy protections into the feature, and that OpenAI won't store requests. The integration uses OpenAI's GPT-4o model.
Apple users don't need an OpenAI account to make use of the ChatGPT integration, but users can pay for upgraded versions of ChatGPT through Apple. Users can also access ChatGPT through some text menus...
Stanley is recalling 2.6 million mugs sold in the U.S. after the company received dozens of consumer complaints, including some users who reported getting burned and requiring medical attention.
The recall covers all Stanley Switchback and Trigger Action stainless steel travel mugs, which are double-walled mugs sold in a number of colors and sizes that came with a polypropylene lid, according to the recall notice posted Thursday by the Consumer Safety Product Commission. The Stanley logo, a winged bear with a crown, appears on the front and bottom of the mug.
The company has received 91 reports worldwide about the lids coming loose while in use, leading to 38 burn injuries. The CSPC said 16 of the complaints stemmed from U.S. consumers, including 2 burn injuries.
"Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled travel mugs and contact Stanley to receive a free replacement lid, including shipping," the CSPC said in its statement...
