College Football thread

First college football National Championship I could remember. I was 10. My dad woke me up so I could watch the Gators win. Pretty much knew then that I wanted to go there. FSU owned us in the 90s but they got slaughtered in the one that mattered most.

This Georgia Tech team isn’t going to back down from Georgia. I’ve watched them all year. I’m just not sure they have the talent to win this one, but it should be a better game than years past.

We got Georgia vs Georgia Tech and the Bruins on rn... though I think it's time to fire up some Madden and beat up on the Rams, i'm a couple weeks behind on the season gotta catch up

@Deus Irae you might have ended up being right about the playoff/scrapping the bowl games. Here’s why: I think the SEC is going in a direction where they will get maybe an Ohio State and/or a Florida State and split off from the rest of the NCAA to have their own tournament. I think we are starting to see that SEC schools have no incentive to play these ridiculous schedules, so they’ll attempt to break away and college football will eventually be cooked.

Georgia is susceptible this season. Their defense hasn’t been what it was in previous seasons. Unfortunately, here is what is coming in 2025…

“The Game” between Michigan and Ohio State ended with a 13-10 score in favor of the Wolverines, who needed a late-minute field goal to win.

After the final whistle, Michigan attempted to plant a flag with its logo in Ohio State’s home, which didn’t sit well with the players.

Some Buckeyes attempted to stop the act, which became an all-out fight between the two teams.

Unfortunately, as cameras were capturing what happened, many speculated that several Michigan players were pepper sprayed. Cameras saw linebacker Jason Hewlett and Tavierre Dunlap crying, and it didn’t look like tears of joy.

“Sure looked like it. Definitely messed up,” said one comment.

“Law enforcement for many years… can confirm… OC or more commonly known as pepper spray,” added another.

“Looks like it. There were 2 others wiping eyes too,” a third continued.

“That’s actually insane lol got whooped on the field and proceed to get so buthurt about a flag you pepper spray the team that just beat you,” another pointed out.

“That shit is crazy… osu should be embarrassed,” a fan wrote.

“I thought I saw this. I cannot believe this happened. No need for this,” another concluded.

It Looks Like Ohio State Players Were Pepper Sprayed Along With Michigan Players

if you think that only the Wolverines got poor treatment because the game was played in Ohio, you’d be wrong.

Another angle from the fight seems to show officers firing pepper spray into a crown of Buckeyes.

The whole situation was a complete mess; somebody must be punished because this is completely unacceptable.

Lol nah I love it it's a rivalry game be as toxic as possible
We have too much lovey dovey shit nowadays
I just really dislike Michigan so I’m not going to be objective about anything they do.
