I'm not buying it, even for a second. They were too cheap to spend what needed to be spent, and we saw that with Kupp, just as we saw it last year with Ridley.
But, even if money played a zero percent role (an absurd claim given the known history), only a garbage staff would sacrifice all talent at the one of the two most needed positions on the team because they were worried that their young QB was too much of a bitch to handle one diva WR.
Wait a second. Weren't you the person saying the QB was too much of puss to risk playing and getting an ouchie last season?![]()
Deliberately mischaracterizing my statements doesn't make my answer wrong, sorry.
That applies in the other parts of the forum, too.
Although you DID want to sit the young lad to protect his fragility.![]()
No.... I wanted him to sit until he was ready to handle the shit show around him. And we saw the why of that. For all that his potential had people all over New England needing tissues to mop up the jizz after the occasional "wow" sort of play, the team was worse with him than with Brissett, the kid was a turnover machine, and he suffered two concussions because he wasn't smart/ready enough to protect himself.
He obviously was thrown in too early.
He got good experience....
He could have gotten that "good experience" starting a few weeks later. You must really be bored to be fighting two such obviously losing battles here.![]()
I started this one because I felt so bad for you getting teabagged over in the other forum. Wanted to give you a draw over here. I never lose.
I think it's great that you lead such a rich fantasy life...
