On March 15, 1986 World Class Championship Wrestling aired from The Sportatorium in Dallas, Texas and was hosted by Bill Mercer. Check out the main event as WCCW World Heavyweight Champion “Ravishing” Rick Rude (with Percy Pringle) takes on “The Modern Day Warrior” Kerry Von Erich. Pringle would later become known as Paul Bearer, The Undertaker’s manager, in the WWF. It was actually Rude who suggested Pringle (real name William Moody) to Vince McMahon when looking for a manager for The Undertaker.

Like everything WCCW, I watched this match real time on a Saturday morning on WXNE Channel 25 Boston.

Hilarious how Rude does his flex routine (and he is shredded), then Kerry takes off the robe and his much bigger than Rude without even flexing. These two could have had a good run but Rude left for the kiddie entertainment of WWF shortly after this.

Paul Bearer bounced around Texas and Florida then left wrestling for a year or so before getting the call from Vince.
 
The Ox Baker riot occurred on January 31, 1974, at the Cleveland Arena during a wrestling match involving Johnny Powers and Ernie Ladd.
