I was in Taiwan at the time. Eating at a local "westerner " tavern. It was shown live on TV. When I saw the second plane hit I knew and everyone in the tavern knew it was an attack.
I was 34 at the time. I'll never forget seeing NYFD rushing into the second building trying to save lives and losing their own. Fucking powerful. God bless them.
