More than half of that group is being overpaid even under today's loose money standards
I looked at Lawrence’s stats from yesterday. He threw it 21 times, and they only threw 3 times (2 sacks) compared to 9 rushes after Travis Etienne fumbled the ball at the goal line. Why pay him that much money only to drop back 21 times?

It looked as if a lot of teams were using this week as a week to get the offensive lines up to speed by using short passing and power running.

Just looked at the Tyreek body cam footage. I can see why that cop was taken off the street, because he's an overly aggressive fool, which means that he's dangerous both to the civilians he deals with daily and to his fellow officers. I wonder if he'll get off with some kind of course/re-training, or if they'll just axe him.

He wasn't wrong in anything he said though
Majority of athletes are dumb af
And yes super homophobic

Yeah they should have just stepped back and told him he wasn’t leaving until he got out of the car if anything. Hill definitely escalated it and he’s probably a piece of shit, but a traffic violation shouldn’t result in getting taken down twice. The cops are supposed to be better than that.

Demanding you roll your window all the way down is a standard ploy of the cops, but it's not generally a legal requirement. It usually just has to be open enough for conversation to be possible and passing license/registration to be possible. In fact, many defense attorneys recommend that you do it this way in order to avoid the cop peeking in and claiming he saw something suspicious or breathing in and claiming that he smelled something funny.

That's not really anything terrible by Tyreek, though he should have kept the window cracked open rather than closing it back up, in order to avoid ending up having to deal with just this kind of Tommy Toughguy policeman.

The Panthers have placed defensive tackle Derrick Brown on injured reserve, the team announced on Tuesday.

Brown suffered a knee injury during the season-opening loss to the Saints. Brown’s timeline for return is currently unclear, though he could be out for the rest of 2024.

Head coach Dave Canales said during his news conference on Monday that Brown is seeking a second opinion before deciding whether or not to have surgery. Canales noted that Brown’s absence will create “big shoes to fill.”...

When it comes to serial offenders, it's not surprising that more victims are found over time. That doesn't mean that this claim is valid, but it won't shock me if it is.

...Tony Buzbee, the alleged victim’s attorney, said in a lengthy social media post that he and his client tried to handle things privately.

“We feel compelled to release this statement based on the innumerable press inquiries we’ve received,” Buzbee wrote. “We reached out to attorney Rusty Hardin’s office for ten months in an attempt to resolve this case. We knew this case was the most serious and egregious case brought against Watson to date and our client, who is rightly traumatized by these events, wanted to attempt a private resolution. We thought that was the best approach given the media storm that occurred surrounding the legion of other clients. Unfortunately, Watson’s team or maybe his lawyers couldn’t or wouldn’t give this case the attention it was due. Mr. Hardin now has tried to contact us since we filed suit. Unfortunately, we see that now as too little too late. But, we are officers of the court, and we will give Mr. Hardin and his team the respect he has earned and will work with him to progress this case in an efficient manner...
