They need to play better. They’re stuck with the roster they have because of the contracts they handed out before the bill for Purdy came due. Having CMC back will help, but the back end of their schedule is tough. They’ll have to fly to the east coast twice in the same month - Buffalo and Miami - and the Dolphins are playing better with Tua back. They have the Lions and Rams at home and finish with the Cards.

Absolutely brutal stretch. If they make it out of that with one loss or undefeated, they could very easily go on a title run (until Shanny chokes in the big game).
