Problem solved for you, then. But Larry Bird's not walking through that door...

Brandon LaFell isn’t walking through that door.

Brandon LaFell isn’t walking through that door.

The problem here was, is, and will continue to be that the grocery-shoppers for the past Quarter Century have had no fucking clue, save for 2002 & the 7th round of 2009, when to open that door and for whom to open it.

Aaron Dobson's going to blossom any minute now...

Yep; and don't forget: you can't coach speed, so you gotta draft speed...

Have to go back a long, long time to find where this team drafted a true speedster who could function as a WR1/WR2.

I have to be missing someone, because I'm at Stanley Morgan (a player who belongs in the HOF).

...Stanley is one of the league’s best, and his next contract is likely to reflect his status. He’s projected by Spotrac.com to earn $20.7 million annually for two years.

That’s a problem for a Ravens team set to have $8,918,872 worth of space under the salary cap. It’s a bigger issue when Stanley is likely to be atop the list of multiple teams needing help along the offensive line.

The Washington Commanders have already been touted as a probable suitor. So have the New England Patriots, per The 33rd Team’s Marcus Mosher...

Ravens Urged to ‘Pounce’ for Ronnie Stanley Draft Replacement

With the Ravens currently not having the cap space to tag Ronnie Stanley, and the Chiefs reportedly not tagging Trey Smith (see below), the path for the Patriots to upgrade their #1 area of weakness is obvious and open, at the moment:

There’s a shortage of franchise and transition tag candidates around the league this offseason, but Trey Smith is one player that’s been mentioned as a possible recipient.

Smith has started all 80 regular season and playoff games he’s played since joining the Chiefs in the sixth round of the 2021 draft, which has made him a key part of the protection for Patrick Mahomes as the team’s right guard. Given the need to improve that protection at left tackle this offseason, the prospect of losing another offensive lineman isn’t a good one for the Chiefs.
If Smith is going to return, it doesn’t look like it will be under a tag. Nate Taylor of TheAthletic.com reports that the Chiefs are not expected to use either tag on Smith in the coming weeks...

Report: Chiefs are not expected to franchise or transition tag Trey Smith

Sign Stanley and Smith and you've got 4 of your 5 OL spots locked down, and just need to deal with the RT spot.

The Buccaneers and wide receiver Chris Godwin are working on a new contract that would keep Godwin in Tampa Bay.

Godwin and the Buccaneers have agreed to change his old contract so that it doesn’t void until the end of the league year on March 12, according to Greg Auman of Fox Sports.

That gives both sides more time to negotiate and potentially reach a new agreement. If they can’t reach a new deal, the contract will void and Godwin will be available at the start of free agency, 4 p.m. ET on March 12...
