The Jets ruined this kid for a decade. He's just now starting to look to be about 80% of what he was at West Virginia.

He was bad from the start, Jets or no Jets. He wasn't an NFL level player. He's been fortunate enough to have been a high pick, which allowed him to stick around long enough to develop a bit, and then to find the right team for him.

And that's great, because he can serve as an example of determination and multiple chances eventually paying off. Justin Fields should take heart.
