NFL General News

I hear you. Not specific to your point, but to your specific point and the greater discussion about taking QBs in round one, take a look at the round one QBs in the 2000s.

You can count the number of times the first round produced multiple top flight QBs on one hand.
That's a lot of failure right there. I feel a lot of that has to do with how bad the QB development is in college.

Who do you want the Viqueens to draft

Pretty much every year, there is a run on QBs. Pretty much every year, that run is a mistake.

yea but you still gotta keep buying those QB scratch tickets if you don't have one

we've been in that cycle for 3 years, hopefully we can snap it with this draft/FA

Never buy the scratch ticket in the top 10. Only go in on QBs (or players at any position of need) if you love them regardless of position. If you don't love QB#3, either draft a different player or trade out.

Rich Viqueens  I'd like to see us get a DT or a Edge Rusher. We struggled to stop the run and our maim guy Phillips isn't getting any younger.

You got more problems to worry about if Cousins leaves.

The following position groupings will need significant skill boosts this off-season due to our glaring vulnerabilities and the players I believe we need to let go of:
LB (most need on defense)
OL (needing a C or T due to aging)
DL (need to fill up certain gaps)
RB (A significant need that was disregarded that will exist until 2023)
(Possibly) Safety
QB: Whether we maintain Dak or not, I would draft a QB. I can nearly assure you that this front office won't choose anyone until rounds six or seven based on historical performance.
