NFL General News

I hate to say it, but it just might be that 2007 was the greatest ever (though certainly not the most beloved by Patriots fans). The Giants pulling that out in the last moments, and taking out a much better, and undefeated, team in a game where the better team didn't play its best but still had multiple chances to win might just be the #1 overall.
I don't think you are far off on this one. 2001 falls in the same category - the upstarts pull out the win against a team that was considered several levels above them.

38 - slow start, big scoring burst, lead changes, right down to the wire ending on a pick.

For me it's 36, and it will never be topped. Seahawks/Falcons close second, and I could go either way on them.
The Seahawks one was a better overall game. Drama, back and forth, Brady just surgically dicing one of the best defenses of the last 20 years. I’d say that’s second behind 36. Falcons comeback would probably be #3 on my list. That’s an all-time Super Bowl, but the game was just domination either way. We got dominated in the first half then dominated down the stretch.

It was. It was the rare matchup from the two actual best teams in the league, and neither of them giving in to choking. There were 3 INTs in that game, all of them were sick plays by the defender. I mean, Seahawks win that game, they're back to back champs, and an actual legion of boom dynasty.
