It would have been so unjust had they 3 peated when you consider all the incredible teams in NFL history. And they had all the health, all the breaks, all the calls. They’re basically just an upper middle class football team with a massive sense of entitlement which they always get.

If you think about it, this Chiefs team is really quite similar to Olajuwon's Rockets. They're led by an all-time great who's simply not quite as good as the true "best ever" players at his position, and they win when the best players elsewhere have retired and/or aged out. And that doesn't make them bad, but rational people should be able to see what it means to their place in league history.

Maybe this is the loss that lets the media figure that out.
