I was out to dinner tonight, and we were talking about this subject. My mother, who's a nurse, was with you and I on this, adding that we don't even know the results of the testing yet, that it's a lot easier to tell someone to walk away from hundreds of millions of dollars if they're not getting some of it, whether the damage already suffered is already "too much" for a healthy old age, etc...
And, bottom line, it's not the call of they bystanders. If someone wants to take a beating in order to amass generational wealth for their children, that's their choice to make.
