The team sucks no matter who the QB is. I find Maye enjoyable to watch move in the pocket, throw, etc.
But you've got your book...

HE IS SO HARDCORENot with that head coach. That's how he rolls.
This team's dead, and there's nothing to look forward to. If they'd kept working with Drake for a few more weeks, there'd be no difference in the team's record, and we'd still have the anticipation of seeing him when he had a few more of the bugs worked out.
Anticipation? What is this Christmas Eve? I am going to enjoy watching him work the bugs out in games. And his bugs don't look terrible compared to other rookie QB's so far. I'm sure there will be some ugly games too.
He'll be experienced when the team gets a white HC and better talent.
Ok.
Enjoy the copium. I'd prefer maintaining what was obviously an intelligent development plan.
Copium? That would be taking as gospel that THIS team with THIS leadership had an intelligent development plan.
Maye isn't shitting himself. So what's the harm to his fragile development?
Harm? He's still got a lot of the same issues he had before, though they are better. He's having to learn basics under fire, behind a shitty OL, and with a lousy WR corps, and that didn't need to happen, because we are now a people that have no ability to be patient. Maye's not the problem. Maye's the potential solution being put needlessly at risk.
The fans, and those in the Patriots brain trust who abandoned the plan because of the team's losing are the problem.
