If AVP is the sacrificial lamb for this season, the team is really fucked. Maye has looked comfortable and poised in this offense, which is a miracle given the OL. I don't how much AVP has to do with Maye's composure, but he's certainly not the problem.

After another loss on Sunday, the Patriots are switching things up with their up front, as they announced the release of offensive lineman Liam Fornadel from the team's practice squad.
Fornadel, 25, played collegiately for James Madison before joining the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL as an undrafted free agent. After a month in Canada, he joined the DC Defenders of the XFL for two seasons, earning All-XFL honors in 2023.
The Patriots signed Fornadel back in June and after failing to make the roster out of camp, he was placed on the practice squad. He was never elevated for a game.
New England has just one offensive lineman left on their practice squad - offensive tackle Caleb Jones.

As much as I question the playcalling at times, I'd much rather give AVP a 2nd year over Mayo. AVP was the second best option we interviewed IMO, behind Kubiak. It's very possible the lack of creativity and overall conservative offense is due to the lack of line and WR talent. AVP has done a good job with Maye, no question about that from me.
Is there really THAT much talent on the D? I am not so sure. This DEI-denying dick thinks so.

This is why I will concede to not be mad if the Mayo/AVP get another year.. Defense is a different story, they are underachieving imo with the talent they have.
The same infidels that say "dei hire" for Mayo also say "he's a Jew" regarding Kraft. Very low intelligence.
