Pats favorite to Land Aiyuk (UPDATE: We fucking suck)

They're going to give up some combination of draft capital, players, and a huge salary to get Aiyuk, because they wouldn't go where they needed to on Ridley, who would have cost them nothing but money. And that's if they get the guy.

Epic fail.

really puts the Ridley miss in perspective

still, id rather have a legit WR 1 threat and do a slight overpay than not have one at all

perfect time to do it on this team as well, all the WRs are young and unproven, so it wont ruffle the locker room paying an outsider who have proven themselves in the league at that position

Judon will probly die a little inside tho

I'm sure Judon will have time to get over it after Week 8 when he's on season ending IR. Again.

With the cap space we have, we could have landed both and instantly had one of the better WR corps in the league. They could have concentrated on the OL higher in the draft this year, too.

He needs to be traded at this point. It’s fine that he’s showing up, but he’s supposedly being a pain in the ass in camp, too. Let him go elsewhere and have another team pay him more money.

I posted that a couple weeks ago.

This team isn't contending. Trade his injury prone ass for assets.

Get Aiyuk, start the new GOAT (Drake Maye), and win Lombardi #7 in 2024. Easy stuff.

Don't fuck this up, Wolf. I already have you rated as a vastly superior GM than the previous guy. Don't let me down.

I would rather have Aiyuk hands down. He's the better player and he's in his prime. Yes he's going to cost more but he's not approaching 30 either.

There were left tackles on the market, too, but it was more important to get the guy who's a benched right tackle and move him to the left side than to actually build a solid team.

Why would the Niners even want Bourne with that contract? They’re better off with the cost savings and seeing if a real WR2/3 becomes available later on this offseason.
