Saleh was a bad head coach. This move is probably the right one, which is odd to say about something the Jets do in season.

Getting Adams would improve that offense a lot.
Garret Wilson has proven to be a good but not great WR.. He's just not to the elite tier level, a lot like Chris Olave. He'd be an excellent #2 to Adams though.
How much help does Aaron need?
More than he's got. Rodgers has never been Brady, and his new physical limitations are making that even more obvious. At a minimum, he needs another WR, and he needs that OL to play better.
