The left/right mod thing doesn’t work, as you well know. The left mod will enforce the rules differently for the righties and vice versa. Moderating in general doesn’t work. People hold their tongues all day in real life, and generally don’t want to do that in their spare time. You don’t want to have to moderate unless you’re forced to, and in our case it’s material that could blow back on me personally (porn that kids can see, for example). Oh well. I wish them the best in their future endeavors, but it’s over for them. They had a good thing in double digit new active members and pissed it away. Nobody to blame but themselves.
In his last PM to me he claimed that he “bent over backwards” for me, when he of course did no such thing.

The thing is - this site is exactly that, and it is far from a cesspool. Right or Left, Gay or Straight - nobody cares. @Finn makes Richard Simmons look like Arnold Schwarzenegger, and he is one of the most well liked posters here. Funny as hell, too!
