GameDay Discussion
Love that they have to "investigate" the incident. Apparently the 48 second video doesn't prove this asshole is a total scumbag.

A troubling interaction between a Green Bay Packers couple and a Philadelphia Eagles fan united all of the social media following the Packers’ 22-10 playoff loss to the Eagles.

The video, posted to X by Alexander Basara (@Basaraski), shows the couple just trying to enjoy the game as one guy from Philly decided he was going to make it the worst time ever.

The Eagles fan allegedly made derogatory remarks to the female Packers fan and ignored Basara’s attempts to defuse the situation.

The video has sparked widespread outrage, with thousands of fans condemning the Philly’s fan’s behavior.

His behavior was so terrible that even many Eagles supporters expressed embarrassment, emphasizing that one individual does not represent the entire fan base.

In the wake of his behavior, social media demanded that everyone find the guy’s identity and make life bad for him.

That guy was found, and his place of employment, BCT Partners, was also located.

24 hours later, that company was forced to release a statement as many people began flooding their company with calls.

“As an organization that always has stood for in. The conduct displayed was completely unacceptable.”

The company plans to do a full investigation. 1736833658786.png

The only investigation that can be done is what was shown on video.

The company could either fire the Eagles fan or just wait long enough for fans to move on to the next hot topic and forget about this.

Philadelphia Eagles Haven’t Released Statement

During Sunday’s wild-card round game against the Green Bay Packers, one Eagles fan was seen relentlessly berating a woman who was wearing Packers gear.

At one point, the man appears to call the woman “dumb.”

Another male in the video tells the Eagles fan to stop calling the woman names, to which the guy responds with, “She’s an ugly, dumb c—. You going to do anything? F— up and watch the game.”

It is unclear whether the Eagles fan will face any punishment from the team.

They have not spoken out about the incident.

Americans really have become soft little bitches...
I got called a dumb cunt about 8 times a day at work. now granted they were fucking with me and I would fuck with them right back but Seriously they want this guy fired over him calling her a dumb cunt ?Jesus Christ grow a pair. The funny thing is I was ranting on another post that Lord sensei put up about some dumb bitch who wants her man to do all this stuff for her. people have no dignity anymore or sense of self-worth is what I was saying about her and people like her. they also have no sense of proportion.I have to believe it's because these people are all needy bags of fuck and they just are empty inside and just lose their shit over being called a name. To the girl's credit in this video, she's not the one bitching, it's her boyfriend but still. I mean seriously just be a fucking man tell the guy to shut the fuck up and leave your girl alone and leave it at that .why does everybody have to be internet famous because of every little fucking thing?

No one deserves that kind of treatment because they're supporting their team at a football game. Are they supposed to sit on their hands and not cheer for their team? The asshole was with his brother and a friend and wanted to start a fight. He threatened the guy by saying "what are you going to do about it" when the boyfriend told him to back off. If the boyfriend got into it with the asshole, he'd be fighting the asshole, brother, friend and a shitload of Eagles fans that they were surrounded by. The asshole was being aggressive and was trying to get the boyfriend to respond. He's obviously a drunken piece of shit who just wanted to fuck up their experience at the game. Fuck him and anybody that looks like him!!!

By the way, the asshole is in the hospitality business of all things. What a welcoming person he is, a real poster child for the hospitality company that he works for.

I agree no one should have to be harassed at games. assuming he called security over and got nowhere with them?

i don't have a problem with him posting a video so that everyone can see this asshole's face. When you are in public you have no expectation of privacy or you shouldn't. having somebody fired for making comments on their off time is a very slippery slope to go down and I do not agree with it. I used to work in an educational institution but I worked in a very politically uncorrect department. most of the people who work there were ivory tower fucks who would clutch their pearls if they heard the way we were talking and probably would have reported us to HR even though it's none of their fucking business how we talk in our department. if you want to work in our department you better realize that that's the atmosphere that's there you're not going to have a little church pew or some little safe space. if he'd actually fought the guy or something like that maybe I would think more seriously about it just depending. If there's no material harm I just think it's really stupid to care that much about words that you call somebody or that someone calls you in situations like that.

I remember when I was 8 or 9 years old I was a hockey fan and my mother wouldn't even take me to a game at the Detroit hockey arena because people were cursing and acting like assholes that's just kind of the milieu.

if you want to talk about selling alcohol at football games then I will tell you that I wish they wouldn't sell it at games at all after halftime. that will never happen though.

Back in the day, if you were wearing opponent jerseys in Philly, you either traveled in a large group or you expected to get your ass beat, and everyone told you that you got what you deserved for being so stupid. Now we're using the internet to track people down and try to get them fired because they said mean things to a rival fan.

As a nation, we're becoming soft as baby poo.

Well if you want to talk about selling alcohol at football games then I will tell you that I wish they wouldn't sell a drop of alcohol after half time and if they were serious about not wanting this kind of stuff to go on they wouldn't sell alcohol at all. but God forbid they care about this type of thing. the last time I went to a game I swore to God I would never go again because the atmosphere at games is just shit tastic now. it's mostly seeing people where I was sitting and no matter where you sit people seem to not really care about watching the game and more about socializing on their phones and with people there on their phone with who were across the stadium from them and getting up to get nachos. At having to have everything I have on my person searched and told that I have to have a see through purse to go to a game was the absolute drop dead no.
If I was an owner of a company, I'd want to know if they were doing shit like this, on or off the clock. I just wouldn't want a scumbag like that associated with me or my business, especially a "hospitality" business. Apparently, this isn't a high quality human being. His actions speak louder than words. Sometimes being a drunken asshole has consequences. I hope he loses his job, he deserves it. If there's no consequences, there's no change in behavior. It's giving him permission to do it again.

The Eagles should also ban him from the stadium for life.

Ok, so you're not supposed to pay good money to go to an event and be able to enjoy it without some drunken asshole swearing at you and threatening you because you don't root for their team. They deserved what they got. They're lucky he wasn't killed and she wasn't gang raped.
Ok.

I didn't defend the guy's behavior. But Philly fans have long been known as probably being the worst in the country, and everyone understands that when they buy that ticket. And everyone also understands that if you wear visiting team merchandise to an Eagles game, you're opening yourself up to getting shit for it. Whether we would prefer it happen or not, and I didn't comment on that one way or the other, it's understood to be a likely outcome. Beyond that, if that was one guy calling another guy something like "a fucking pussy", nobody would be blinking an eye. But because it was a woman called mean things, cancel culture is trying for another scalp.

You're going after me for pointing out the simple fact that we've gotten soft. But it is a simple fact.

I've heard of players who don't want their families to go to Philly's stadium when they play for an opposing team just because they're known to harass players families.

I understand what you're saying and I certainly agree he's not exhibiting good behavior and it's not in any way something I condone. that said I hope you tell everybody when you hire them that no matter what you do on or off the clock I'll be watching you and I reserve the right to fire you if you call somebody a name and act like a drunk idiot at a football game. Pretty sure it would be hard to defend that one in court. I remember NFL players, even Josh Allen, people going through his Twitter history before he got drafted and I remember there was some tweet that Josh Allen made like what he was 14 or something that was supposed to be racist and oh is that gonna make him drop in the draft and things like that. it's like yes we all live a public life now and people are judgy mcjudgy pants over everything but I certainly can't say that I've never done anything that I was ashamed of before and I certainly would hope that my job wouldn't be spying on me and firing me for calling someone names in public. Again he didn't hit anybody.

He didn't just call her a ugly stupid cunt, he was looking for a fight. What if he called a 12 year old girl a stupid cunt? Should that be accepted because Philly fans are the worst fans in the nation and she should have expected it? He was a drunken fucking asshole and deserves everything that happens to him. Fuck him.

I wouldn't want to associate with someone like that on a personal or professional level. I'd find a reason to fire the fucker, and I can get pretty creative. If I knew someone acted like that, I wouldn't want them working for me and hopefully, I could catch it before I hired him.
He thinks he can do whatever he wants without consequences. Sometimes being stupid hurts. He's fucking toast now and I couldn't be more pleased. He deserves everything coming to him.

Well I went to a hockey game in Detroit when I was a little older after my mom trusted that I guess whatever curse words I heard I'd already heard it school so I heard it. Kids get bullied and name called from the time they go to school.I don't really understand why this asshole calling her names is any different from that.again not desirable behavior. And if you would fire somebody if you heard about them calling people a name in public then I hope you would have a supportable reason besides that cause I can tell you from working in HR and also working with problem employees that my boss tried to get fired that it is very difficult to get someone fired even for actual things they did on the job that were horrendous let alone calling somebody a name in public.

Maybe it's just because I'm old, but I wouldn't call a woman a cunt unless she really deserved it. I've called a few women cunts, but they were deserving of the title. When I said I absolutely meant it. Maybe it's me having a hang up about it, but it's not a term I use loosely. When I get pissed, I definitely will use it if I think it's appropriate.
