There are no great QBs in this era now to challenge Mahomes.. Brady had to go thru Peyton Manning virtually every year

The QB play across the league is garbage, which makes it easier for a team like KC with legit QB to win more consistently

Where is the Peyton Manning to balance out Mahomes? The only person who balanced him out was Brady in his mid 40's, but now hes retired and there is no one

this is the dead zone leading up to NFL draft, so i would anticipate the talking heads to get desperate and make all kinds of wild claims for attention

My hope in humanity is kinda restored mostly everyone on X isn't falling for the recency bias besides the Swifties. That includes non Pats Fan hell look at this board alone the non Pats fans know he needs 7

Recency bias is so bad that Peyton Manning was considered the be the GOAT by the majority on Twitter when he retired after 2015.

Brady was dealing with multiple HOF QBs, just in his conference. Manning, the guy that so many were trying to call the G.O.A.T. throughout most of the Brady era, was there, but so was Roethlisberger. Right now, there's nobody even close to those guys in the entire NFL (Rodgers might have been worth the argument, if it was 10 years ago, but not now), never mind the AFC.

There was also those pesky Chargers teams that were talented, the Ravens had that Ed Reed/Ray Lewis combo, and of course the QBs you mentioned. The AFC was way tougher in the Patriots dynasty era.
