Tom Brady & Patriots Dynasty Divinity Thread

This is interesting. A lot of it is bush league, probably because they're going about it backwards. Instead of looking to prevent him from doing certain things, they should be pushing the boundaries on what he's allowed, and filming it as a documentary:

NFL owners would not be excited about a partial owner of an NFL franchise getting the kind of access other broadcasters have with NFL teams. That's why the league has reportedly put together a list of broadcast restrictions for Brady if his ownership bid were to be approved.

ESPN reports that the league presented a slide titled: "Brady -- Broadcast Restrictions," to owners during league meetings in Minneapolis. Here are some of the rules:

  • Not permitted to be in another team's facility
  • Cannot witness practice
  • Cannot attend broadcast production meetings..

...Additionally, Brady would be subject to other league policies that affect other owners:

  • Subject to fines or even suspension if he goes too far in criticizing game officials or other clubs
  • Subject to the league's gambling policy
  • Subject to the league's anti-tampering policies: Permitted only "strictly social communication with members of other clubs."...

Tom Brady would face severe restrictions as TV broadcaster if he became part-owner of Raiders, per report

Tom’s been the GOAT since 2005/2006. We were watching high-stakes hyped-energy legacy games from 2004 through 2022. Can’t see football ever being that good again.
Even though they played for the "wrong" teams, guys like Montana, Marino, Kelly, and Young were damn good. Marino's fast drop and quick release were like no other. Montana just made things happen, Kelly and the K-Gun were brutal.

But Tom did so much more with, on paper, a much lesser overall cast of characters alongside him. But that cast all bought in, and with Tom's "Favorite receiver is the open receiver" mentality it was magic.

Also, it helped that there was prime BB, Scar, Romeo and Weiss, and a whole cast of others that also bought in.

And Ernie - the Evil Genius Ernie.

This OT drive in the Super Bowl is what I point to with delusional Rodgers fanboys. Tom Brady is the most talented QB that’s ever played, and a key difference between them, beyond style, is that Rodgers quite simply doesn’t have the balls to make these passes, in Overtime, in the ****ing Super Bowl.

This sideline laser to Amendola around :45 seconds in… Rodgers doesn’t have the balls to make that throw, in that moment, in that game.

Rodgers doesn’t risk the pick 6.

Rodgers takes the sack, and lets Steve A Smith blame the offensive line for “letting him down” all summer.

This drive is why Tom has 7 championships, would have 8 if not for a helmet catch, and should have 10 if not for Aaron Hernandez nocturnal activities.

Absolute legend.

All great QB's work to fix deficiencies in their game - TB only saw the deficiencies. He never forgot pick 199, "everything he does he needs to do faster", all the cliff comments, game manager jokes - all of it just added to his desire to win.

Bro never been an athlete so beloved by his teammates more than Tom

Not one former teammate has ever had a negative thing to say about him all love

and thats over a 20+ year career

i remember James Harrison going on that show with Shannon Sharpe, and he said he wanted to hate Brady so badly.. but then he came to realization that Tom was 100% genuine and a good person.... you could see Shannon struggling with that information, because he loves to hate Tom too and it would be so much easier if they could just get some dirt on him, but everybody fucking loves him

except maybe jimmy garropolo

The standout memory I have of Jimmy G was the Super Bowl. Butler makes the pick, Jimmy is jumping around but looking a bit sad the nobody was celebrating with him.

I think Shannon was playing the anti Brady to Skips pro Brady at the time. He hasn't said anything bad about Tom since he left FS1 even said he was the GOAT lol

Any journalist that wasn’t on the Brady train after 2004 should be called out on live television after they give whatever the fuck opinion every single time.

“Interesting take on the WNBA, but didn’t you used to say Aaron Rodgers was the greatest quarterback of all time? LOL. While Tom was in the league? lmao. Bro, just get the fuck outta’ here.”
