Video Games Are For Retards.

ive been playing Pantheon in early access lately, its an old school style MMO RPG where it doesnt hold your hand

no map to reference, have to go get your body if you die, etc.. can solo a bit but heavily reliant on groups to beat content

sort of like the original Everquest, if any of you are familiar with that

its been enjoyable, definitely better if you have a group of friends to play with tho

I remember that no map stuff from original EverQuest. Might have to check that out.

Nintendo continues on society’s march to pussify every human being. I saw some guy do his top 10 Mario games of all-time he had Super Mario Wonder ranked first though the rest of the list didn’t have recency bias. So I played through it…

This game is so fucking easy. Great music, concepts, creative power ups and enemies. But. So fucking easy. The enemies are like frienemies, like they just assist you in getting from point A to point B. End level boss (Bowser Jr) so laughably weak, you almost can’t die unless you try, and in some end levels, you literally just run like 100 feet past weak obstacles and step on a kill switch.

Notably the only two levels that left an emotional impression were because they were fairly difficult.

I thought Odyssey was also way too easy. It was expansive at least but each individual task was pretty basic.

I find myself always going back to the more challenging retro games.

On the other hand, Metroid Dread was amazing and difficult.

If I had the setup (old school Thrustmaster stick and throttle) I'd still be playing Descent
