2023-24 Boston Celtics & NBA Thread

Not at all. Butler missed the game due to a death in the family. We basically had nothing outside of Herro in the second half.

Boston has entered the "We can just show up" phase, yet again. This is what gets them in trouble in the regular season, and is emblematic of why the team comes up short in the postseason.

While I was watching the game yesterday, I kept wondering how much better the Celtics would be playing if Spo was on that bench instead of Mazzulla.

They should have just toke Udoka to knock it off with the jungle fever bullshit and kept him on.

I have a bad feeling that Brown (especially), Tatum, and combo of Brown and Tatum, are going to fuck this team when it matters most. Both of them still have moron hero ball tendencies that can no longer be rationalized with an elite supporting cast around them. I really hated Brown earlier this season but actually he has become less selfish. Tatum still has that “I wish I could pass but I just can’t now” look of shock on his face as he clanks 18 foot iso fadeaways. Those two need to step back and let the others cook as well, or they’re gonna lose again.

I'm getting my hopes up boys we are up at the half right now, but the Dubs are playing their best basketball right now. Kuminga is playing great and Green has returned to form.

129-107 Win let's to Dubs

Derrick White is so fucking good down the stretch of games. How many daggers has he hit this year? Whenever teams are coming back and you can see the Cs starting to panic he drills a 3.

He was a pain in the balls in the ECF last year.

I didn't place my bet for the Celtics game tonight. That was easy money pissed away....
They barely covered. Good thing Nets missed that 45 pointer at the buzzer.

I wanted to be sure Porzingas was going to play before I bet, and I ended up forgetting until about 4 minutes after the game had started. That's twice I've done that, now.
