Seriously, if I were someone who'd re-upped my season tickets after Kennedy's comments, I'd demand a refund. And, if they didn't give me a full refund, I'd take them to court for fraud.
Henry's obviously checked out as an owner, but it won't matter until Red Sox fans start voting with their wallets.
You're exactly right. Henry used to be excited and anxious to talk about the Sox, now he dodges questions. I usually go to 4-5 games a year but this year I'm going to pass. I'm not even going to watch them on NESN. It really sucks because I get tickets at less than half price and I enjoyed going there.

These owners can get hooked on the money instead of the game, and this is what happens. Henry's apparently now more interested in developing the area than he is in the team itself, and it's showing.
Yeah, it's a joke at this point. It's not just media. It's not just ex-players. It's current players and, according to reports, it's also some in the front office/ownership. Everyone knows.
John Henry needs to either fix the team or sell the team. But he doesn't want to spend the money, because he's got his fingers in too many other pots right now, and he doesn't want to get rid of the cash cow. So everyone else is boned.
Maybe the Boston mayor can stick it to the capitalist imperialist by setting up some roadblocks to the development project.
This Red Sox team has a chance to really dominate the Cape Cod League this year.
