All things Belichick

I am really going to have to cheer for Dallas next season? Ugh. Gotta do it if Bill is there.

Cheered for Brady to get a 7th SB. Doing it for Bill too.
I honestly don’t think he could turn Dak into a SB winning QB. Especially if he thought Brady “couldn’t play” after the 2019 season.

Nothing against either Uche or Belichick, but I have to ask:

When the hell was it actually just decided that BB is the greatest coach of all time? I mean, when did it become officially decided that Belichick was clearly better than guys like

Brown
Lombardi
Walsh

just to name 3 obvious peers?
It wasn’t. George Halas is the greatest GM/coach of all-time and there shouldn’t be much debate. In the Super Bowl era Bill is up there.

Probably after ring #6 is when the talk ramped up as the goat. I think he's the 🐐 in the salary cap era, and I think its fair to separate the different era's and have BB among the top overall.

I find it interesting Belichick wanted to stick with Patricia at OC based on the improvement we saw towards the end of last year. BOB didn't turn out better.

I almost feel vindicated as the only guy with the balls to defend Patricia last year by acknowledging he sucked but that he met what should have been low expectations and showed incremental improvement. I saw Mac as the far bigger problem. A 7x Superbowl winning NFL coach agreed with that unpopular opinion.

The offense had better numbers and results under Patricia. I went at it over at fagland with Rob. I was defending Patricia and Judge.

Not because I really believed in my argument. I just wanted to go off on Rob.

Let's not kid ourselves here. That offense sucked, and then BB made the offense even worse with his terrible personnel decisions. As for Jones, it's far more likely that BB wanted him gone because he dared to question the crap that was going on than it was that BB honestly thought "Gee, the bag of shit I made him eat wasn't the problem". You can bet that's why Jakobi ended up on the Raiders, too.

Jakobi was a moron though. Had terrible situational intelligence, and I don't just mean his Vegas fuck up.
