If you're reading the tea leaves about Dallas, remember that BB's reportedly got a second interview with the Falcons this week, and McKay's going to be there along with Blank.

I read that Dallas has a lot of salary cap problems and will not be able to re sign many of their own players much less any free agents. Atlanta has talent except for quarterback. Maybe Bill preferred Atlanta to Dallas and let Jones know that.

Looks like I am a Falcons fan next year unless we play them.

my family most weekends got an extra game of football we watched together, my parents, sister and her kids usually come over for Patriots games but when Brady was playing in Tampa they would come over for those games as well. There were no mixed emotions when the Pats played the Bucs tho, we were all 100% rooting for Pats to win, but outside of that we passionately rooted Brady on as much as we did the Pats
made sundays a lot more fun, so looking forward to BB still being in the NFL mix so i can root for another team (2nd to the Patriots, of course)

It really bothers me that some of you guys appreciated Bill and want to root for him in his new venture, rather than watching a flaming pile of dog shit in New England every Sunday. I’ve been a Patriots fan since 1902. Seen it all. Real fan. I hope Kontra will at least segregate these Bill threads into a dungeonesque sub-forum.

Falcons have good young roster except the most important position. I don’t know if Bill is just really, really stubborn and remains overconfident/ stuck on the Parcells model QB, or if he’s going to do everything he can to get the best QB possible.

Don’t know for sure but I wonder if the geography plays into this for Bill.
Sign a vet QB in Atl. MUCH easier division and conference to win.
