Black Monday (Starting today)

Why do these teams take half measures? They never work. In this case, the vaGiants just went full retard and kept both. The Jags kept Baalke when most fans would have rather they kept Doug, and I think they needed to fire both. We’ll likely take a half measure as well, with Wolf somehow surviving missing on WR twice in such a rich and deep WR draft.

The Giants probably look at Daniel Jones and say "Daboll got the most out of him that year", rather than "Jones had one good year and Daboll just rode the wave". Pairing that thought process with "he developed Josh Allen!", and that probably bought him another year.

Yeah, and to be clear, were I a Giants fan, I’d rather them have fired the GM and kept Daboll. Jags fans down here seem to be echoing the same sentiments on the radio.

I don’t know why Wolf still has a job here if the team let Mayo and AVP go after a year. Just do a clean sweep.

yes please

NFL needs to completely fucking pilfer that Chiefs organization down to root and stem

Patriots couldnt go a season without even their scrub assistants being scooped up by other teams, leading to a slow attrition of leadership... Chiefs seem to always go unscathed in free agency and in the coaching/executive ranks
Agree and hopefully he fails miserably.

He has ties to Ben Johnson supposedly. He had very little talent to work with there, he's a well respected coach from what I've read.

A couple other thoughts..

I like Daboll, I think he's a good coach. That GM has repeatedly fucked up, extended D.Jones, Signed Golladay, bad drafting up until the last year or two. Not having a QB makes a difference.

I like that Ben Johnson wants to interview here, talk around him this year is he wants a HC job and is only interviewing places he'd go. That is great news for this organization. The draw of Drake Make is real. I'll be very happy with him or Vrabel.

The Colts kept coach Shane Steichen. But there will be at least one big change.

The team announced on Monday evening that it has parted ways with defensive coordinator Gus Bradley.

“I’m appreciative of Gus and the commitment he made to the Colts,” Steichen said in a statement from the team. “He is a man of great character, and I have the utmost respect for him. I felt like we needed to move in a different direction. I wish Gus and his family all the best moving forward.”...
