Also just me rambling as a bitter Vikings fan...Diggs is a quitter. On a side note I just heard something embarrassing about our team. We are tied for the most playoff losses of any team with the Cowboys. The only problem is they have won championships unlike us. Bills is Vikings AFC. Had every chance to win yet still choked. They wide right while we wide left. Very embarrassing stuff.

There's a Cowboys fan here now
@CM Punk defend your boys
Don't let a Vikings fan do that

My dream scenario would be Mahomes and Kelce running into each other in the first quarter, injuring both and make them miss the rest of the game. But, as they're laying on the turf, the cameras pan up to the box with Tay Tay and Britney and show their reactions. That would be fun!!!
i'm sure ms maHOmes would be bitching about the refs, fans, etc.on insta before they hit the turf.

diggs is a bitch, agreed. josh is better off w/o him.

Nah I was leaning towards the Chiefs but after that All 22...
You guys riding on false confidence
That was a bad Bills defense
I just don’t know who is going to consistently score for KC. They don’t have many man beaters and I’d expect Kelce to get doubled up in man.

If Kelce goes down with a career ending injury, I will consider the weekend a success.

Even if the Chiefs win.

Serious question and it's something that just occurred to me
If Lamar win the Superbowl this year does that make him pretty much on par with Mahomes?
He lacks the Superbowl appearances that Mahomes has but he would have 2 MVPS and 1 Superbowl to go with it.

In my opinion, Yes.

He would be almost even with him with the various hardware, but the fact that he is actually masculine puts him over Mahomes.

I know Jackson is the official gay brother, but I'm pretty sure Pat's marriage to that harpy is a sham to cover up his sausage preferences.

But that's just a theory I have.

If they win 3 then yes they're a dynasty right now they're not
I’m starting to get a Chiefs losing vibe because it’s like a cycle where a team gets crapped on or under appreciated and they win, then they get overhyped and they lose. The Chiefs hype is at a fever pitch right now for a team and fans that cried all season about underperforming despite having almost no major injuries like other teams.

All this Chiefs/Mahomes talk about, “he’s about to surpass Brady as…” really downplays how hard it is to win it all. It’s like Chiefs fans remember reality differently where they didn’t win the CC and SB in coin toss games where they got some fortunate calls.

If they don’t win 3, you’ll hear plenty of crying about changing the dynasty criteria to two championships and a bunch of other factors.

it isn’t uncomfortable at all. Who is denying Mahomes is a great QB and the Chiefs are a great team? If they win three, they’re a dynasty.
Yeah, if they win 3 in a decade, I’m not sure how many sane (keyword) Pats fans would deny that they are a dynasty. I’m sure there are some old dudes with small dick energy that would say they aren’t because they didn’t win three in four years, or some such nonsense, but they would merely be a verbal minority.

It's going to take them 6 rings to be equal to the Patriots dynasty.

Well said.
I'm getting Chiefs losing vibe just purely on watching the tape.
Dolphins we all knew Tua was gonna shit the bed
The Bills well they moved the ball up and down the field vs the Chiefs defense luckily for them the Bills defense was decimated by injuries
So Mahomes / Kelce / Pacheco got to do their thing.
Ravens are healthy on Defense for most part and they've been lighting people up all season

I think the Chiefs are already a historically notable team and that Mahomes is an all-time great. I get annoyed at a couple of narratives.

1. Mahomes joined a team that was winning 10/11 games and their division every year. Brady joined a team that was 5-13 and had no hope of competing in 2001. National narrative is a 180.

2. This is more about every QB compared to Brady, but especially Mahomes recently. Brady was not only playing before multiple rule changes favoring the offense, but averaged a full touchdown more than Bledsoe (a pro bowler and highest paid QB in the league) but in 2001 had absolute garbage for skill players. From 2002-06 this fluctuated between garbage and semi-garbage. Trying to compare TD passes, passer rating, yards, etc in a different era and with that relative talent gap is disingenuous. We all saw in 2007 with Brady. We can confidentially say those raw numbers from 2001-06 would look much, much different with guys like Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, J’Marr Chase, etc.

Ultimately Mahomes is going to need to make some plays with average receivers against a good secondary. Ballsy timing throws. Tight windows. Brady did it all the time on the biggest stage.
