I wish I didn’t already know that Kiki Camarena gets murdered. The CIA was likely complicit in that. That would be a “HOLY SHIT” moment had I not known. Probably still going to be good TV, though.Every season of Narcos is awesome

They actually showed it at some point in S1 of “Narcos.”I didn’t know. It was shocking.
Yeah that sounds like a great angle for a S2 character.@Ice_Ice_Brady I finally got caught up and finished the Penguin season finale. I knew he would let the cops get Sofia. I figured he would maneuver through the younger, hungrier kids. Somehow, he was going to get out of that because he’s a criminal mastermind. On par with Luthor (the GOAT) and The Joker. Vic? That was a gut punch. I didn’t see that coming at all, but the audience needed to be reminded that Oz is a sociopath and ruthless.
I know they showed the Bat signal at the end, but I’d really like it if they kept him on the periphery as long as possible. The one concern I had with this season, even though the scene was awesome, was the massive explosion at Crown Point. There’s no way the Batman isn’t sniffing around that. He’s the greatest detective in the world and a massive explosion rocked a poor area of town. I worry about them using Bruce Wayne/Batman as a crutch. I’d like to see some more of the lesser-known villains emerge. Mr. Zsasz would be a phenomenal character to introduce to this show. Especially with the creative freedom Max enjoys.

Nah. The movie was the prequel because Carmine Falcone is already dead in the show and Maroni is locked up. If you like the Oz character, you should check out the movie and see how fucked up Paul Dano’s Riddler is. Matt Reeves really nailed the look and feel of Gotham. Filthy, run down, looks like it stinks, graffiti everywhere, corrupt to the core.Yeah that sounds like a great angle for a S2 character.
Agree 100% about Batman…don’t want that shit even touching this show. The show-runner seemed genuinely conflicted about future seasons…she doesn’t want to ruin the show unless S2 can be as good as S1. They may have thrown the bat signal in just in case this is the final product and that’s essentially a prequel that connects to The Batman.
Sid you finish it?Two more thoughts:
1. Love Don Neto. I don’t know what happens to him, and he’s still a piece of shit, but he doesn’t make any attempt to hide who he is. In a way, he’s the most honest character on the show.
2. Every time Isabella is on the screen, I get hard. Til’ the room stank. Holy mackerel.
Nope. On S2, E7.Sid you finish it?
