Film, TV, Netflix, HBO, Etc. Thread

I went to the movies last Friday and saw Gladiator 2. Good movie! I was a little nervous about it at first because sequels can sometime really suck. It had a couple of spots that I thought kind of dragged, but overall very watchable and entertaining. Great fighting scenes, very graphic violence, which is a plus for me. I recommend.

Which reminds me, she was not only happy to be fucked by him but she was Gladiator 2.

They gave us a foam "Thumbs up" and "Thumbs down" finger and a poster.

If you liked the first one, you'll like this one too. They put these new "rumble seats" in the theater I went to but were all sold by the time I bought tickets. I want to try them out!!

IMPORTANT D-BOX DEETS

• It’s easy to find D-BOX seats. Screenings featuring D-BOX seats allow the ticket purchaser to opt for D-BOX when selecting seats before making their final purchase.

• D-BOX availability is limited. Theatres featuring D-BOX traditionally devote 2-3 rows—usually 20 to 30 individual seats— to D-BOX. Most theatres offering D-BOX feature 2-3 auditoriums outfitted with this premium selection.

• There’s an additional charge for D-BOX seating. Prices vary depending on the theatre, but the average premium for a D-BOX upgrade is $8.

D-BOX DEEP DIVE

OK. You probably understand this much: D-BOX is a seat that moves. But how it moves is incredibly sophisticated, and it’s powered by haptic technology.

“Haptic” comes from the Greek for “touch.” In essence, the technology behind haptics is all about creating—through remote, computer-generated signaling—a realistic experience that mimics the tangible, ultra-sensory specificity of interacting with real objects.

Think of it this way: It’s recreating the sensation of an ice skate on ice, of a snowboard on fresh powder, of the coarseness of the rockface that one feels beneath their fingers on an intense free climb. It can even recreate the effects of gravity itself on a plane accelerating through its takeoff!

It’s the future of immersive entertainment experiences, and it’s already quite popular: Smart phones, gaming controllers, virtual and augmented reality gear use haptics/haptic feedback to offer hyper realistic experiences unlike anything the world has ever seen—except in person.

@everyone has anyone seen the new series on MAX called Dune: Prophecy yet? If so, did you like it?
I tried but couldn’t get through it. I thought it was boring and I had trouble connecting with any of the characters.

was a good movie

im a denzel fan but didnt think this was his best work, and im on the fence about the guy they cast as Lucius but my wife was dripping wet down her leg for him, so who knows

liked the movie tho! not as good as the first because that was a cult classic, but still good

Hadn’t seen the last two Bond movies so just watched them.

Fucking terrible.

This franchise needs much more than a new lead actor. The plots are awful and not interesting. The plot armor is so thick it isn’t even fun to watch. The movies try so hard to be charming and fall flat. Formulaic, shitty character development, very dull. If it weren’t the 007 franchise with some expensive production, it would be no better than a shitty Netflix show.

Rami Malek sucks so bad. Dude over exaggerates his expressions and plays the “mysterious man” role and it’s ridiculous. Looks like he’s 12.

Gonna try Mission: Impossible movies next. I liked the few I’ve seen.

It doesn't help that Craig is, arguably, the worst of all the Bonds, that they combined that with wokeism, started going against everything that made Bond Bond, and that Craig obviously wanted out of the franchise several installments earlier.

For the big screen, Bond needs to be somewhere within a Venn diagram of Connery, Moore and Brosnan. That's the sweet spot. Bond should not be Jason Bourne. Bond should be Bond.
