Always fascinates me to read how much the studios fuck up movies that should be easy makes.
It was terrible. Almost as bad as Madam Web. No redeeming qualities whatsoever.
Tough to make a great movie about a "super hero/villain" hunter unless you absolutely nail the story and cast the right characters as the lead/opponent, and then let it flow sensibly and without interference. The Tarzan movies should have made that clear to Sony.
I made it about 14 minutes through “Landman” before I heard the typical cringe Taylor Sheridan dialogue between a roughneck and a 10/10 blonde that would never work in a drive thru coffee shop in Odessa, Texas. Laughed out loud and turned it off. I like some of Sheridan’s movies (Sicario and Hell or High Water), but can’t understand the appeal behind his shows.

WB Cartoons, back in the day, were the shit! Give me a few hours of Foghorn Leghorn, Yosemite Sam, and Wile E. Coyote v Roadrunner .... made me a happy kid.
I still love them!! I have a cel on my wall with Bugs, Porky, Marvin and K-9. It's from "Duck Dodgers in the 24 and a half Century".
While I found absolutely none of that to be impressive, I really hope the movie's good. DC needs to actually have a high quality movie after all this time where mediocrity has been the best they could do, and Marvel's gone to shit-via-wokeness.
